Thomas Muller Highlights Manzambi's Potential

Former German football star Thomas Muller has suggested that Bayern Munich should consider Swiss talent Johan Manzambi, especially after his impressive performance in the FIFA World Cup, which has further enhanced his reputation following a strong season in the Bundesliga.

In Switzerland's recent 4-1 victory over Bosnia and Herzegovina in Los Angeles, the 20-year-old Manzambi made a significant impact after coming off the bench. He scored just two minutes into his appearance with a stunning volley in the 74th minute and added another goal in the 90th minute, earning the 'Player of the Match' accolade.

Muller Advocates for Manzambi at Bayern

Manzambi's performance has established him as one of the most promising young players, following a remarkable season with Freiburg, where he contributed to 16 goals in 47 matches. Muller specifically pointed out Manzambi as a player that Bayern Munich should keep an eye on during his World Cup journey. Speaking on MagentaTV, Muller stated, "For me, he (Manzambi) is someone, and now we can make a headline, that FC Bayern should also look at."

Manzambi Remains Committed to Current Goals

Despite receiving accolades from a World Cup-winning icon like Muller, Manzambi remains focused on his obligations with both his club and national team. His contract with Freiburg extends until 2030, and he is not contemplating future moves just yet. He remarked, "I am still in Freiburg. I'm focused on the World Cup. I do not know what I will be doing next season."
