In the men's badminton team event, India clinched a bronze medal at the Asian Games 2026 after a 3-1 loss to China in the semi-finals held in Aichi, Japan, on Wednesday.

The only victory for India in this tie came from Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty, who triumphed over the reigning world champions Liang Weikeng and Wang Chang with scores of 21-11, 22-20 in the men's doubles match.
