Avani and Aditi Secure Tied Sixth Position

Avani Prashanth climbed to a tied sixth position after completing three rounds at the Andalucia Costa del Sol Open de Espana, joined by Aditi Ashok. Avani recorded a score of 68, while Aditi finished with a 69, both standing at 8-under for the tournament.


Other Indian players included Pranavi Urs, who finished tied for 44th with a score of 71, Hitaashee Bakshi in tied 55th with a score of 70, and Diksha Dagar, who was tied for 69th with a score of 75. Avani achieved five birdies and one bogey, while Aditi also had five birdies but incurred two bogeys. They are tied with Anna Huang, Italy's Alessandra Fanali, and two competitors vying for the LET Order of Merit title, Shannon Tan and Mimi Rhodes.


Cheenglab Leads by Three Shots

Trichat Cheenglab from Thailand is leading the tournament with a score of 15-under-par, holding a three-shot advantage as the final day approaches at the Andalucia Costa del Sol Open de Espana. After a steady start, she made her first birdie on the seventh hole and added another on the ninth at the Real Guadalhorce Club de Golf.


Despite facing challenges on the back nine with bogeys on the 15th and 17th holes, Cheenglab managed to finish with an even-par round of 72. Having already secured the 2023 LET Order of Merit and Rookie of the Year titles, she is now aiming for her second LET victory.


Challengers Close Behind

Perrine Delacour from France is in second place with a score of 12-under-par after an impressive round of 66 (-6), positioning herself well for the final day. The two-time LET champion only dropped one shot during her round, which occurred on the last hole, while she made birdies on the fourth, sixth, ninth, tenth, thirteenth, fourteenth, and sixteenth holes.


Nastasia Nadaud from France is in third place, two shots behind at 10-under after a round of 69 (-3). Meanwhile, Kirsten Rudgeley from Australia and Denmark's Smilla Tarning Soenderby are tied for fourth at nine-under-par, having completed rounds of 68 (-4) and 69 (-3), respectively.
