Alexa Bliss Reflects on WWE Comeback and New Challenges in 2025
Alexa Bliss Discusses Her WWE Journey
WWE enthusiasts may have had mixed feelings regarding Alexa Bliss' performance during her 2025 appearances, but her presence on television remains a highlight. As she reflects on her time in the ring, surrounded by a new generation of talent, Bliss acknowledges the need to enhance her skills to keep pace with the evolving WWE landscape.
During a recent signing event with former WWE stars Big E and Tyler Breeze, Bliss shared her thoughts on her return to the ring. She expressed that taking a break was beneficial, allowing her to embrace motherhood while observing the new talent in WWE's women's division. This experience prompted her to recognize the necessity of stepping up her game.
"Oh my gosh, it made me realize I really need to step my game up because these women that are coming up are incredible, and everyone’s just working their butts off and it was nice to step away for a little bit and get a new mentality to come back to and it’s just that extra drive," Bliss remarked.
Alexa Bliss on The Wyatt Sicks and Bray Wyatt's Legacy
Given her past connections with Bray Wyatt, Bliss was asked about the potential of joining The Wyatt Sicks faction, which includes Uncle Howdy, Erick Rowan, Dexter Lumis, Nikki Cross, and Joe Gacy. She expressed her enduring connection to the Bray Wyatt universe and mentioned that it would be exciting to collaborate with them in future WWE storylines.
Bliss also commented on her former tag partner Nikki Cross, who is now part of The Wyatt Sicks, praising how well Cross has adapted to her new role, which enhances the overall presentation of the faction.
After a hiatus of over two years, Alexa Bliss made her return at the WWE Royal Rumble 2025 event in February, participating in the Women's Royal Rumble match. However, her subsequent absence from WWE programming, including missing Wrestlemania 41, raised concerns among fans regarding her status with the organization.
Bliss made a comeback on the May 9, 2025 episode of Smackdown in her hometown of Columbus, teaming up with Women's United States Champion Zelina Vega to defeat Chelsea Green and Piper Niven, marking her return to regular appearances on the show.
