He triumphed over third-seeded Henry Leung from Hong Kong with a score of 3-2 (11-7, 6-11, 3-11, 11-5, 12-10) in a thrilling final of the PSA Challenger Tour 15 event. This victory marks Abhay's 13th title on the PSA Tour and his second title this year, following his success at the India Open in Mumbai in March. Currently ranked 24th in the world, Abhay stands as India's top squash player. This win also signifies his third Tuanku Muhriz Trophy victory, having previously won in 2022 and 2024.

Abhay Singh began his tournament journey with a bye in the first round. He then faced Malaysia's Low Wa Sern in the second round, securing a 3-1 victory (8-11, 11-2, 11-6, 11-2). In the quarterfinals, he continued his winning streak against Mohammad Syafiq Kamal, winning 3-1 (11-4, 11-13, 11-5, 11-5).
