As per a press release, the matches were fiercely contested, with each possession crucial for teams vying for a spot in the FIBA 3x3 World Series in Mongolia. The fast-paced format, characterized by a 12-second shot clock and 10-minute game durations, allowed players to earn points that contribute to their official FIBA rankings, a first for many who had previously only participated in unranked domestic competitions. The audience was kept on the edge of their seats, especially during the quarter-finals and semi-finals, leading to a highly competitive final for the 3x3 India Quest 2026 championship.
