The Dink Minor League Pickleball (MiLP) has released its schedule for the 2026 Regional Showdowns, which will provide a structured pathway for amateur players aiming to qualify for the Championships. This series will feature various events across the United States, allowing participants to compete in organized team formats while securing spots for the season-ending competition.

Scheduled from May to November, the Regional Showdowns will coincide with several Major League Pickleball (MLP) events. This initiative aims to create a competitive atmosphere for amateur players, aligning them with professionals and significantly narrowing the gap between the two levels of play.

The tournaments will adopt a team-based format, featuring co-ed teams of four players (two men and two women) and a three-player gendered format under the MiLP v3 regulations. This structure emphasizes teamwork and strategy while catering to various skill levels.

As official qualification events within the MiLP framework, the Regional Showdowns will reward division winners with direct entry into the Championships, often referred to as a “Dream Ticket.” Additionally, teams will accumulate points that contribute to the national leaderboard.
