Court Reserves Judgment on Telegram's Plea
New Delhi: The Delhi High Court has postponed its decision regarding Telegram's appeal against the government's temporary ban on the messaging service, which was implemented in anticipation of the NEET-UG re-examination scheduled for June 21.
During the proceedings, a vacation bench led by Justice Tejas Karia listened to the arguments presented by senior advocate Dhruv Mehta, who represented Telegram, alongside Attorney General R. Venkataramani and Solicitor General Tushar Mehta, who defended the government's stance.
The judge instructed both parties to provide their written arguments by 7 PM.
This hearing was focused on Telegram's challenge to the government's recent decision.
