Amit Shah's Three-Day Trip to Kolkata


Kolkata: Amit Shah, the Union Home Minister, is set to arrive in Kolkata on Monday for a three-day visit ahead of the upcoming assembly elections in West Bengal, as confirmed by a senior leader from the BJP.


Upon his arrival at Kolkata airport in the evening, Shah will proceed directly to the BJP headquarters to assess the party's readiness for the elections.


On Tuesday, he is anticipated to hold a press conference in the city.


During his visit, Shah is expected to conduct multiple meetings with party workers.


Additionally, he will have a private meeting with RSS officials and another session with BJP MLAs, MPs, and Kolkata Municipal Corporation councillors, according to the BJP leader.


On Wednesday, Shah may visit the residence of a prominent Bengali figure in the city or nearby, although this plan is still pending confirmation.
