Abhishek has delivered numerous outstanding performances in T20 cricket. His score of 135 off 54 balls against England stands as the highest individual score by an Indian in T20Is, while his 141 off 55 balls against Punjab Kings ranks as the second-highest individual IPL score by an Indian, following KL Rahul's 152 not out in IPL 2026.
He has also established himself as one of the most prolific six-hitters in T20 cricket. In 2025, he became the first Indian to hit 100 sixes in T20 cricket within a single calendar year and set the record for the fastest player to reach 100 sixes in T20Is based on balls faced.
