On Tuesday evening, Samarth Atri, a talented young athlete from Bhoranj tehsil in Hamirpur district, met with Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu to seek his blessings before the upcoming Asian Short Track Ice Skating Trophy 2026. Samarth has been chosen to represent India at this prestigious international event, which is set to take place in Dehradun from August 17 to 20, 2026.

Following his outstanding performance there, he earned the opportunity to represent India at the Asian Short Track Ice Skating Trophy 2026.
