Despite his efforts to forcibly remove it, he began to bleed, prompting him to stop and call for his parents. They rushed him to a nearby hospital, but he was subsequently referred to the University College Hospital in London for further treatment.

Doctors had to perform surgery to extract the USB cable from his private area. After conducting a CT scan, they confirmed the cable was stuck inside. The only option was to make an incision near the penis to retrieve it. Fortunately, the operation was successful, and the doctors reported no internal injuries. However, the young man was advised to return for a follow-up scan in two weeks.
