Rising Star in Equestrian Sports

At just 14 years old, Stasya Pandya is making waves in India's competitive equestrian scene. She gained recognition by winning a silver medal in the Under-14 category during the 2025 Junior National Equestrian Championship held in Bengaluru. Recently, at the Delhi Horse Show 2026, she showcased her talent by securing two medals across different disciplines. Stasya earned a Team Silver in Dressage riding Consul and a Team Bronze in Show Jumping, successfully navigating a challenging 1.10-meter course with Cougar De Fees.

Mastering Two Distinct Disciplines

For those who may not know, dressage and show jumping are fundamentally different. Dressage emphasizes precision, rhythm, and harmony, while show jumping focuses on speed, control, and accuracy over obstacles. Achieving success in both disciplines at a national level is quite rare for junior riders. Stasya expressed, "Dressage requires patience and a strong bond with your horse, whereas show jumping demands courage and quick thinking. I enjoy both as they challenge me in unique ways."

Consistent Performer on National Stage

Stasya is determined to be part of a generation that elevates Indian equestrian sports on the global stage. Her impressive performances continued at the JNEC 2025 in Bengaluru, where she won Team Silver in Dressage. At the NEC 2025 in Meerut, she placed fourth in Team Show Jumping. Previously, at the JNEC 2024 in Delhi, she secured Team Bronze in the Children 2 category for Show Jumping.

A significant milestone in her career was the FEI Children's Classic 2025 in Bengaluru, where Stasya qualified for Team India selection trials in the Under-14 category. She achieved the rank of All India No. 1 in the Silver Category for Show Jumping and finished 12th globally. Stasya remarked, "Competing at the FEI Children's Classic against international riders and finishing 12th globally affirmed my place in this sport."
