On Tuesday, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath announced the eradication of encephalitis in Kushinagar, stating that the government has successfully eliminated both mosquitoes and criminal elements from the region. While addressing the public, he emphasized that the administration has tackled the issues of diseases and unemployment caused by mafia activities. He remarked that just as the mafia has been dealt with in Uttar Pradesh, encephalitis has also been eradicated here. 'We have removed both mosquitoes and the mafia. Mosquitoes spread diseases, while the mafia caused unemployment. We have resolved both these issues,' he stated.

Additionally, the Chief Minister is set to visit Gorakhpur, where he will inaugurate various ongoing construction projects related to tourism development at Chiluatala, costing ₹20.35 crores.
