Yogi Adityanath Criticizes Congress and SP Over Ayodhya Issues

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has sharply criticized the Congress and Samajwadi Party for their historical skepticism regarding Lord Ram's existence. During a public address in Ayodhya, he highlighted their past attempts to pray at Hanumangarhi and questioned the opposition's stance on the development of Ayodhya, including the newly established international airport. Adityanath emphasized the BJP's role in fulfilling the long-standing demand for a Ram temple, amidst ongoing political disputes over temple funding and related issues. His statements reflect the ongoing tensions between the ruling party and opposition regarding Ayodhya's significance.

Yogi Adityanath's Strong Critique of Opposition Parties

The Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath, has launched a fierce attack on the Congress and the Samajwadi Party (SP). He accused these parties of questioning the existence of Lord Ram and highlighted that those who now speak of faith had previously attempted to pray on the steps of Hanumangarhi in Ayodhya. While addressing a public gathering in Ayodhya, Adityanath remarked that the same individuals who are now advocating for Lord Ram had recently tried to conduct prayers at Hanumangarhi.

Intensifying his criticism, the Chief Minister stated that opposition parties have consistently opposed the development of Ayodhya and mocked projects that have now become a reality. He pointed out that no one had anticipated the establishment of an international airport in Ayodhya, a concept that SP leaders once ridiculed. Today, Ayodhya boasts an international airport, yet they are displeased with its name, which honors Maharishi Valmiki.

Referring to the alleged incident of prayers at Hanumangarhi, Adityanath questioned why such actions were permitted and compared them to religious activities at other worship sites. He posed a thought-provoking question: could anyone read Hanuman Chalisa inside Jama Masjid? Would any government allow that? Could Congress or the Samajwadi Party facilitate such an act? If they cannot, then why was this allowed at Hanumangarhi?

The Chief Minister also credited the BJP for fulfilling the long-standing demand for a Ram temple in Ayodhya, while accusing Congress and SP of doubting Lord Ram's existence. Adityanath stated that these parties have historically questioned Lord Ram's reality. The construction of the Ram temple occurred after the BJP came to power. His remarks come amid a political controversy surrounding donations related to the Ram temple, with the BJP and opposition trading accusations over issues linked to Ayodhya and the temple project.
