Significance of Ram Yantra Installation
On Thursday, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath expressed that the establishment of the Ram Yantra at the Ram Janmabhoomi Temple brings joy to every follower of Sanatan Dharma and every true Indian. During his speech, he remarked that India's faith had often been disrespected under the guise of superstition. However, despite enduring hardships over the years, the devotion of the people remained steadfast and unwavering. The installation of the Ram Yantra today symbolizes this true faith of India.

Yogi further stated that the faith which was once belittled as superstition was often disrespected by those in power in Uttar Pradesh and the nation. Now, he believes that everyone can take pride in this devotion, which has endured countless trials without faltering. He emphasized that the Ram Janmabhoomi Temple is not merely a temple but has become a symbol of India's national identity. Praising the new generation's reverence for deities, he noted that this is a changing India, where the youth prefer visiting temples to celebrate the New Year rather than going to tourist spots.
Ceremony Highlights
The installation of the Ram Yantra at the Ayodhya temple was officiated by President Droupadi Murmu, accompanied by Governor Anandiben Patel and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. The Yantra was placed on the second floor of the temple, which represents its final level and symbolizes completion. To commemorate this occasion, Ayodhya was adorned with large banners and posters along major roads and intersections, prominently featuring images of the President, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. The streets were decorated with saffron flags and decorative pennants, creating a festive and religious atmosphere throughout the city. The administration enhanced security, cleanliness, and traffic management for the event.
