Y Khemchand Singh Sworn in as Chief Minister of Manipur


Imphal: On Wednesday, Y Khemchand Singh, a prominent leader of the BJP, officially took the oath of office as the Chief Minister of Manipur.


The oath was administered by Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla during a ceremony held at Lok Bhavan in Imphal, which took place shortly after the revocation of President's rule in the state.


Manipur had been under President's rule since February of the previous year due to ongoing unrest.


The event saw the presence of numerous BJP legislators, senior officials from the party, and key leaders from the NDA in the region.
