Workshop on 'One District One Product' Initiative Held in Pratapgarh
Workshop Highlights Government Initiatives
Pratapgarh. A workshop focusing on the state government's flagship program 'Panch Gaurav' was conducted on Friday at the Government Polytechnic College in Pratapgarh, centered around the theme 'One District One Product - Thewa'. The event aimed to inform young participants about various schemes related to the district's industry and commerce center, including the ODOP policy, MSME policy, export policy, and employment generation initiatives.
Detailed insights into self-employment schemes such as the Chief Minister's Youth Self-Employment Scheme, the Vishwakarma Youth Entrepreneur Promotion Scheme, the Rajasthan Trade Promotion Policy, and the Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Entrepreneurship Promotion Scheme were shared through PowerPoint presentations. Over 100 young individuals attended the workshop.
Manju Mali, the General Manager of the District Industry and Commerce Center, delivered the welcome address and expressed gratitude. Paresh Nath Banerjee, the manager of a leading bank, elaborated on various schemes offered by the bank. Ashma Gauri Khan, the principal of the Government Polytechnic College, encouraged the youth to take advantage of government schemes for self-employment. The event also saw the presence of Prince Parmar, the District Industry and Commerce Officer.
The program commenced with a prayer to Goddess Sharada. During the event, framed photographs showcasing Thewa art were presented as gifts to the esteemed guests. Administrative officials including Sukhlal Maidra, Narendra Salvi, Bheru Singh Bhati, and Mukesh Raidas played significant roles in organizing the event, which was moderated by Manoj Solanki.
