In a bizarre incident in Betul, Madhya Pradesh, a wife caught her husband red-handed with his mistress and confronted him aggressively. Reports indicate that the wife had long harbored suspicions about her husband's fidelity. To confirm her doubts, she devised a plan with some friends to catch him in the act. Under the guise of an unknown woman, she befriended her husband and eventually posed as his girlfriend. The wife, acting as the mistress, expressed a desire to meet him, which he readily accepted, agreeing to meet at the location she provided.

Upon arriving at the designated spot near the collectorate, the husband was shocked to find his wife instead of the woman he expected. Without hesitation, she began to physically confront him. Accompanied by her friends, they all joined in on the confrontation, leading to a chaotic scene that eventually attracted police attention. The authorities intervened and took everyone to the police station, where the wife recounted the entire incident.

The wife explained to the police that she had married Basant Jhansai, a resident of Bighwa village, and had been subjected to domestic violence since their marriage. Her family was aware of the abuse, and she suspected her husband was involved with another woman. To uncover the truth, she contacted Basant under a different name, and he fell for the ruse. They expressed mutual interest in meeting.

On Thursday afternoon, she arranged to meet him at the collectorate in Betul. When Basant arrived, he was taken aback to see his wife there, and before he could react, she began to assault him. The local police arrived to defuse the situation and took both parties to the police station for mediation. According to the wife, when Basant arrived, he attempted to flee with his sisters, prompting her to confront him in the middle of the street.
