In a surprising incident in Madhya Pradesh's Betul district, a wife caught her husband red-handed with his girlfriend and confronted him aggressively. Reports indicate that the wife had long harbored suspicions about her husband's fidelity. To confirm her doubts, she devised a plan with the help of some friends. Posing as an unknown woman, she befriended her husband and eventually took on the role of his girlfriend.

The wife, acting as the girlfriend, expressed a desire to meet her husband, who readily agreed and arrived at the location she specified. Upon reaching the collectorate to meet his supposed girlfriend, he was shocked to find his wife waiting for him. Without wasting any time, she launched into a furious attack on him. Her friends joined in, and they all confronted him together.


The situation escalated to the point where the police were called to intervene. They took all parties involved to the police station, where the wife recounted the entire incident. She explained to the authorities that she had married Basant Jhansai, a resident of Bighwa village, and had been subjected to abuse since their marriage, a fact known to her family.

The wife suspected her husband was having an affair, prompting her to contact him under a different name. Basant fell for the ruse, and they expressed mutual interest in meeting. On Thursday afternoon, she arranged to meet him near the collectorate in Betul. When he arrived and saw his wife, he was taken aback, and before he could react, she began to beat him. The local police arrived to calm the situation and took both parties to the police station for mediation. According to the wife, when Basant arrived, he attempted to flee with his sisters, but she confronted him in the middle of the street.
