In a recent development, a Patna court has postponed its decision regarding the anticipatory bail plea of educator Faisal Khan, known as 'Khan Sir', in a case linked to a shooting incident at his coaching institute. The ruling was delayed due to the absence of the district judge. The case involves allegations against Khan's security guards who reportedly fired shots during a vandalism incident at the institute. Court Postpones Decision on Khan Sir's Bail Request

Patna: On Friday, a Patna court postponed its ruling on the anticipatory bail application of Faisal Khan, widely known as 'Khan Sir', in connection with a shooting incident at his coaching center. The delay was due to the district judge being unavailable.

The court had previously reserved its decision after concluding arguments from both parties on Wednesday.

This case stems from a shooting that took place in early June, following an alleged act of vandalism by a group of individuals at Khan's educational institute. His security personnel are accused of firing shots during the chaos.

"The District Judge was on leave, which is why the ruling could not be delivered today. The decision has been postponed until Monday," stated Khan's attorney, Arvind Kumar Mouar.

He further mentioned that the educator's temporary protection from any coercive measures remains in effect until the court issues its ruling.

In addition to Khan's anticipatory bail request, the court also reserved its decision regarding the regular bail applications for two of his security guards and the anticipatory bail requests for three other staff members from his coaching institute.
