CJP Founder Prepares for Major Protest

Abhijeet Dipke, the founder of the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP), has arrived in New Delhi ahead of a significant protest scheduled at Jantar Mantar. He has called on his supporters to uphold discipline and ensure the demonstration remains peaceful.

Activist Sonam Wangchuk, who has voiced his support for the protest, announced that he would embark on a six-week hunger strike if Dipke faces arrest.

In a message shared on X, Dipke expressed his eagerness to connect with supporters at Jantar Mantar, encouraging them to bring a book and the national flag. He also suggested that participants offer flowers to police officers as a sign of compassion and gratitude, stressing that the movement should be characterized by love and peace.

Dipke stated, "I have landed and am looking forward to meeting everyone at Jantar Mantar. Please remember to bring a book and our Tiranga! Let’s offer flowers to the police as a gesture of compassion and gratitude. We must lead this movement with love and peace!"

The CJP, a youth-driven online movement, has organized this protest to demand accountability regarding alleged irregularities in various examinations and recruitment tests, including NEET, CBSE, CUET, and SSC.

Additionally, the group is calling for the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.

Dipke, who recently returned from the United States to aid in mobilizing support, has characterized the campaign as a peaceful constitutional movement.

This upcoming demonstration at Jantar Mantar marks the CJP's first major on-ground mobilization after gaining significant traction on social media in recent weeks.

Wangchuk has urged young participants to remain peaceful and cooperate with law enforcement. He advised protesters to bring only essential items like water bottles and mobile phones, and to carry flowers. He also cautioned that anyone found with weapons or suspicious items should report them to the police immediately.

In anticipation of the protest, security measures have been intensified across the capital. Police officials have confirmed that additional personnel have been deployed at Indira Gandhi International Airport, border entry points, and other sensitive areas.

Although the police have not received a formal request for permission to hold the demonstration, they have established security protocols based on information gathered through social media and other sources.

Over 1,000 police officers are set to be deployed throughout New Delhi and other key locations as a precautionary measure.

In preparation for the protest, the CJP has circulated guidelines urging participants to maintain non-violent behavior and avoid confrontations. Dipke's recent appeal reiterates these instructions, emphasizing the importance of respectful interactions with law enforcement during the event.
