Manish Sisodia Faces Anti-Corruption Inquiry


New Delhi: On Friday, former Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi, Manish Sisodia, attended a questioning session at the Anti-Corruption Branch (ACB) regarding allegations of corruption linked to the construction of classrooms in government schools, according to officials.


The ACB had previously summoned Sisodia and fellow AAP leader Satyendar Jain in connection with these allegations.


Jain had already appeared before the agency on June 6.


These summons were issued following the registration of an FIR by the ACB on April 30, which detailed claims of financial misconduct amounting to Rs 2,000 crore concerning the construction of over 12,000 classrooms or semi-permanent structures in Delhi's government schools.
