Minister's Claims on Pradhan's Resignation

Indore: Kailash Vijayvargiya, a minister from Madhya Pradesh, has stated that Dharmendra Pradhan expressed his willingness to resign from his position as Union Education Minister on the very first day of the student protests in Delhi.

Vijayvargiya remarked, "Pradhan's decision to resign has thwarted the plans of foreign entities aiming to disrupt India through violence, similar to events in Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. I commend him for his actions," during a press briefing in Indore on Saturday.

Following Pradhan's resignation, the Cockroach Janta Party concluded its 36-day protest, which had mobilized thousands over issues related to exam irregularities and the NEET paper leak.

The former general secretary of the BJP praised Pradhan for fulfilling his duties with integrity and commitment.

He noted, "On the first day of the protests, Pradhan informed the BJP president that he was prepared to resign if deemed necessary."

However, the party president advised him against resigning, indicating that no decisions had been finalized and that he should refrain from discussing his resignation until further notice, according to Vijayvargiya.

As the situation evolved and the party opted for Pradhan's resignation, he complied without hesitation, Vijayvargiya added.

In response to the Congress party's celebrations following Pradhan's resignation, Vijayvargiya criticized them, using a Hindi saying to suggest that the Opposition was celebrating events unrelated to their influence.

He questioned, "What contribution did the Congress make to the student protests? The students initiated the movement while the Congress merely supported from the sidelines. After the West Bengal assembly elections, the Opposition became disheartened and found a glimmer of hope in the Cockroach Janata Party," he asserted.

Vijayvargiya also inquired if any Congress leaders faced police action during the protests.

Rahul Gandhi, the Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, accused the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) of undermining the country's education system.

In response to Gandhi's comments, Vijayvargiya expressed sympathy for his political views and intellect, suggesting that he still needs to grasp the true nature of the RSS.

The BJP leader concluded by stating that the nation is progressing positively, attributing some of this success to the RSS.
