Gurugram: A woman riding a sports bike was reportedly struck by a speeding car on Golf Course Road, leading to her being thrown off the bike, as per police reports on Monday.

The individuals in the car fled the scene immediately after the incident.

The biker, identified as Siya, suffered injuries from the fall and later recounted the event on her Instagram account.

Siya explained that she was riding her Aprilia RS 457 along with fellow bikers when a car began to follow them on Golf Course Road on Sunday.

She claimed that the car's occupants began to harass her, and when she requested them to keep their distance, they demanded she stop her bike.

Siya also mentioned that the individuals appeared to be under the influence of alcohol.

Shortly after, while attempting to overtake, the car collided with her bike, resulting in her falling off.

The incident was recorded by a camera attached to her bike, and the footage was subsequently shared on social media, showing the car hitting her bike and speeding away.

Siya provided details about the car, which is registered to a person named Manish, according to a senior police officer.

The officer stated, "We have acknowledged the situation based on the video evidence and are currently investigating."
