What Happened During Rahul Gandhi's Protest? BJP Claims He Pushed a Policewoman!
Allegations Arise Amidst Opposition Protest
In New Delhi, the BJP has accused Congress leader Rahul Gandhi of attempting to push a police officer during a protest involving the opposition INDIA bloc on Wednesday. This incident occurred as the police were trying to disperse a female protester from the gathering.
The Congress party has yet to respond to these allegations made by the BJP.
BJP spokesperson Pradeep Bhandari shared a video clip on social media, criticizing Gandhi's actions, stating, "In his eagerness to create a video, Rahul Gandhi tries to push a female police officer."

Members of the INDIA bloc were engaged in a sit-in protest on Ashoka Road, demanding action against alleged electoral malpractice and calling for the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. This protest followed an eight-hour demonstration aimed at securing a meeting with election officials.
Initially, the opposition intended to gather at Jantar Mantar, but police redirected them to Ashoka Road.
The decision to protest at Jantar Mantar was made after a solidarity lunch hosted by Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge. Following this, MPs boarded buses, with some even climbing on top while waving the national flag, causing significant disruption in the high-security area for the second consecutive day.
Rahul Gandhi, along with his sister Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and other leaders from the INDIA bloc, was later forcibly removed by law enforcement and taken into custody.
Protesters included MPs from Congress, TMC, CPI(M), CPI, RJD, IUML, and several other parties, although representatives from the Samajwadi Party were absent.
