Modi Expresses Concern Over Attack on Putin's Residence


New Delhi: On Tuesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed significant concern regarding reports that suggested an attack on the residence of Russian President Vladimir Putin. He called for both Russia and Ukraine to prioritize diplomatic solutions to resolve their ongoing conflict.


In a post shared on X, Modi stated, "Deeply concerned by reports of the targeting of the residence of the President of the Russian Federation."


According to Russian sources, 91 long-range drones from Ukraine attempted to strike Putin's residence located in the Novgorod region, which is situated north of Moscow.


Modi emphasized that the current diplomatic initiatives represent the most effective route to cease hostilities and foster peace.
