Election Results Lead to Restrictions in West Bengal
Kolkata: In a significant move, West Bengal has prohibited any rallies celebrating the success of candidates on Monday, as confirmed by a senior official from the Chief Electoral Officer's (CEO) office.
The official indicated that the election commission is investigating reports that representatives from various parties faced difficulties accessing counting centers.
Special observer Subrata Gupta addressed the media, stating, "Celebratory rallies following the announcement of results are not permitted anywhere in the state today."
He further added, "We are currently addressing the issue regarding agents who were unable to reach their designated centers, and it will be resolved shortly."
