Weather Relief in Delhi-NCR

Following the light rain in Delhi-NCR yesterday, residents experienced a welcome drop in temperature, with a decrease of approximately 3 degrees Celsius. The maximum temperature recorded was 37 degrees Celsius, while the minimum was 20 degrees Celsius. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted further rain today, with cloudy skies expected to provide some respite from the sun.


Today's Temperature Forecast

For today, the forecast indicates a maximum temperature of 36 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 21 degrees Celsius in Delhi. Strong winds are also anticipated later in the afternoon. Clear weather is expected on May 1, while the IMD warns of potential rain and thunderstorms in the plains, including Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, and Delhi, between April 30 and May 2-5.


Weather Conditions in UP and Bihar

According to the weather department, several districts in Uttar Pradesh are likely to experience strong winds and light rain today and tomorrow, offering some relief from the heat. Areas such as Prayagraj, Gorakhpur, and Aligarh are expected to see light rain. Winds could reach speeds of 50 km/h.


In Bihar and Jharkhand, rain is also forecasted today. The IMD has issued warnings for thunderstorms and strong winds in these regions, with temperatures potentially dropping by 2 degrees Celsius after the rain, providing relief from the heat.


Weather Update for MP and Rajasthan

In Madhya Pradesh, light rain is expected in several districts today, including Gwalior and Datia, as per the IMD. Meanwhile, various districts in Rajasthan are also likely to experience light rain today and tomorrow.


Mountain Weather Forecast

From April 30 to May 5, Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand are predicted to see light to moderate rain, snowfall, and thunderstorms with strong winds on different days.


In the northeastern states of Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura, an alert has been issued for heavy rain and strong winds over the next four days. Additionally, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Telangana, and Andhra Pradesh are expected to experience rain and strong winds, with some areas facing heavy rainfall between April 30 and May 3.
