As September draws to a close, Rajasthan is experiencing a notable shift in weather conditions. In several regions, daytime temperatures have risen, while the nights and early mornings have begun to feel slightly cooler following recent rainfall. On Tuesday, maximum temperatures in some cities increased by between 1 to 3 degrees Celsius.

Weather Changes Post-Storm in Bikaner

In Bikaner and its surrounding areas, a sudden change in weather was observed on Tuesday afternoon. Clouds rolled in, accompanied by strong winds and light showers in certain locations. However, most parts of the state remained relatively clear, leading to an increase in daytime temperatures due to sunshine.

Heat Persists in Barmer and Jaisalmer

In western Rajasthan, the heat continues to be felt during the day. On Tuesday, Barmer and Jaisalmer were among the hottest cities, recording maximum temperatures around 36.6 degrees Celsius. According to meteorological data, Jaisalmer is expected to see a maximum of 37°C and a minimum of 25°C on September 29.

Cool Nights Begin to Set In

Despite a decrease in rainfall activities, many districts are witnessing a drop in nighttime temperatures. Areas such as Jaipur, Sikar, and Churu, along with several regions in Shekhawati, are experiencing nighttime temperatures hovering around 20°C. Udaipur recorded a minimum temperature of approximately 19°C.

What to Expect at the Start of October?

According to the meteorological department, the beginning of October is likely to bring clear and dry weather across most parts of Rajasthan. With a reduction in rainfall activities, a gradual increase in daytime temperatures is anticipated. The Jaipur weather center indicates that due to anti-cyclonic conditions in the western districts, heat may rise again.

On September 30, the weather is expected to be mainly clear and dry, with temperatures projected to rise by 2-3 degrees in the coming days.
