Patna, Sep 21: A disturbing case of harassment involving a young boy and a girl, both reportedly in Class 10, has emerged from Jamui district. The incident, which occurred after their coaching class, has been widely shared on social media, showing the alarming event.

As per officials, the incident unfolded in the border region between Jamui and Lakhisarai, close to the jurisdiction of the Jamui Town police station.

The circulating video allegedly depicts a group of individuals halting the two students and subjecting the girl to molestation.

At one point, a man is seen grabbing the girl by the neck and lifting her off the ground.

The boy quickly intervened, but during the altercation, one of the assailants reportedly groped the girl.

When the boy protested, he too faced violence.

The release of this video has sparked significant concern among local residents regarding the safety of girls and women in the area.

Reports suggest that both individuals featured in the video are students at a private school in Jamui town.

They had taken a scooter ride after attending coaching classes on Saturday evening.

While traveling along the Jamui-Lakhisarai road, they were confronted by a group of people.

One of the bystanders recorded the incident, which was later disseminated on social media.
