As they departed from the residence of his father, renowned filmmaker S. A. Chandrasekhar, family members described the moment as akin to a dream coming true. Vijay's mother, Shobha Chandrasekhar, conveyed her unwavering confidence in her son's new responsibilities. Speaking to reporters, she stated, "Vijay will handle this responsibility exceptionally well. I have complete faith in him." She also extended Mother's Day wishes to everyone, referring to this political milestone as a special gift.
