Describing the elections as a pivotal moment for change, Vijay called for unity among party members and encouraged them to connect personally with voters. Vijay Kicks Off Campaign for Tamil Nadu Elections

The leader of the Tamilaga Vetttri Kazhagam (TVK), Vijay, has officially launched an extensive campaign for the upcoming Tamil Nadu assembly elections. Addressing his supporters on the social media platform X, the actor-turned-politician referred to them as "companions residing in my heart" and emphasized the critical importance of the next ten days for the party's success. He advocated for disciplined and widespread door-to-door outreach to strengthen TVK's presence across Tamil Nadu.


 


Vijay expressed heartfelt greetings to all his companions, stating, "In this journey, where glorious tributes adorn our history, your individual contributions are invaluable and essential. We, as the primary force for change, are moving in the right direction towards victory. As election day approaches, I make a heartfelt appeal. To the polling booth coordinators and members of the Tamil Nadu Vijay League who have joined us on this journey, my dear friends and those who hold immense love for the league – step into the field and take charge of the work ahead."


 


He encouraged volunteers and booth-level coordinators to personally connect with voters and request their support for the party's symbol. Vijay urged members to dedicate time each morning and evening to meet people in their respective areas. He stated, "In the next ten days, whenever convenient, whether morning or evening, meet the people of Tamil Nadu face-to-face every day. Appeal to them to vote for our league candidates by choosing the party symbol. I sincerely request you to join this public service as volunteers."


 


Describing the elections as more than just a political contest, Vijay characterized it as a significant transformation for a generation and a struggle for true democracy. He instructed state and district administrators to selflessly collaborate with candidates and urged them to embrace everyone and work together. He called upon all state and district league administrators to provide full support to candidates contesting on behalf of the league. "Embrace everyone and advance the election work. With a spirit of selfless brotherhood, meet people door-to-door. Explain to them that this election is not just for us, but for a significant change, a generational election. Make selfless efforts and strengthen our victorious journey."
