The surge in reports began shortly after 5 PM EST on Tuesday, with many customers highlighting issues across various Verizon offerings. Data from Downdetector indicated that nearly half of the complaints were related to mobile phone services. Additionally, around 28% of the issues were associated with Verizon's 5G Home Internet, while 18% pertained to its 5G internet network. The exact cause of the outage remains unclear, and Verizon has yet to provide a timeline for full service restoration.
