Prasad's Views on Election Delay and Future Aspirations

Prasad, who previously served as KSCA vice president from 2010 to 2013, expressed his disappointment regarding the delay of the KSCA elections, which were initially set for November 30 but postponed to December 30. He emphasized the need for cricket to take precedence over politics, stating, "Our main goal is to rejuvenate high-level cricket at Chinnaswamy Stadium and restore international matches and IPL events. We are concerned about the Bengaluru franchise potentially playing matches outside the city. Why should that be the case?"

He further added, "For this vision to materialize, the elections must occur. KSCA is at a crucial point and requires transformation. Cricket is currently facing challenges, and with the season already in progress, it is essential for elections to happen so a new committee can execute its plans. We respect the Election Commission's decisions, but this postponement was unexpected."
