Vaibhav Suryavanshi's Stellar Performance in IPL
The youngest batsman in the IPL, Vaibhav Suryavanshi, is currently making headlines. Recently, he scored an impressive 78 runs off just 26 balls against RCB, showcasing his explosive batting skills by hitting boundaries off bowlers like Josh Hazlewood and Bhuvneshwar Kumar.
However, his remarkable performance has led critics to question his age. At just 15 years old, many are wondering how he can play at such a high level. In response, the BCCI conducted a bone test to clarify his age.
BCCI's Findings on Vaibhav Suryavanshi's Age
According to reports, Vaibhav underwent a bone test in the 2019-20 season. While his official documents stated he was 8.5 years old, the test results indicated an age range of 10.1 to 10.4 years. The BCCI allows a two-year margin of error in bone tests, which led to him receiving a clean chit.
Thus, the BCCI recognizes Vaibhav Suryavanshi as 15 years old, aligning with all tests and reports. Although the bone test suggested he could be 17, the accepted two-year variance confirms his age as 15.
