Born on March 27, 2011, in Tajpur village, Bihar, Vaibhav began his cricketing journey at the tender age of four, mentored by his father. By nine, he was training at a cricket academy in Samastipur, where his talent quickly became evident. At just 12, he scored 400 runs in five matches during the Vinoo Mankad Trophy and made his first-class debut for Bihar in January 2024, becoming the second-youngest player to participate in the Ranji Trophy.
