The Uttarakhand High Court has called upon officials to present a comprehensive plan regarding the illegal street stalls and parking challenges in Haldwani during a recent public interest litigation hearing.

A bench comprising Chief Justice G. Narendra and Justice Subhash Upadhyay has scheduled the next hearing for December 29.

The petition, filed by Hitesh Pandey, a resident of Haldwani, highlights the inconveniences faced by the public due to unauthorized stalls, a lack of parking spaces, and the arbitrary parking practices of tempos, e-rickshaws, and buses.
