No Registration Required, Admit Card Serves as Ticket

Reena Joshi, the Managing Director of the transport corporation, stated that students will not need to register or provide any additional documents for this free travel. During their journey, students must present their valid NEET UG 2026 admit card, which will serve as the primary travel document. However, it is important to note that this benefit is only applicable to ordinary buses; students will not be able to use this service on AC, Volvo, or other luxury buses.

In anticipation of the large number of students during the examination days, the corporation's headquarters has issued strict guidelines to all depot managers, drivers, and conductors. They have been instructed to maintain a cooperative and friendly demeanor with students. Additionally, they are advised to prioritize seating for students arriving from distant areas to ensure their comfort.

Significant Relief for Thousands of Families and Students

Every year, thousands of students from Uttarakhand participate in this medical entrance examination, many of whom come from families that face long and costly journeys to reach the exam centers. This decision by the government is expected to provide substantial financial relief, particularly to families from economically weaker backgrounds and those residing in mountainous regions.
