Uttar Pradesh Police Chief Advocates Standardized Service for Mission Shakti Centers
Need for Minimum Service Standards in Mission Shakti Centers
The Director General of Police (DGP) of Uttar Pradesh, Rajeev Krishna, emphasized on Friday the necessity of establishing minimum service standards for Mission Shakti centers. This initiative aims to ensure that citizens receive uniform and high-quality assistance across all police stations in the state.
Krishna made these remarks while addressing the 'Mission Shakti Skill Development' workshop, which was conducted online by the Bareilly range. The event took place at the GIC auditorium in Bareilly and saw participation from senior police and administrative officials, doctors, psychologists, counselors, and heads of family counseling centers from Bareilly, Badaun, Pilibhit, and Shahjahanpur districts.
According to a police press release, Krishna stated, “Minimum service standards will be established for each Mission Shakti center to ensure that citizens can access the same quality of services at any police station in the state.” He further noted that these centers should emerge as a reliable and recognizable “brand” dedicated to the safety and support of women.
