According to Prakhar Mishra, the Tourism Director, this groundbreaking initiative integrates Dudhwa National Park, Katarniaghat, and Kishanpur Wildlife Sanctuary, providing tourists with an exciting journey aboard the Vistadome coach. The train allows travelers to venture 107 kilometers into the forest, with an estimated travel time of approximately 4 hours and 25 minutes. Tickets are priced at Rs 275 per person, and plans are underway to offer a package for tourists traveling from Lucknow to Katarniaghat.
Details on the Bichia to Mailani Tourist Passenger Train
Mishra also shared insights about the Bichia to Mailani Tourist Passenger Train No. 52259, which covers a distance of 107 kilometers starting from Bichia station in Bahraich. The train departs at 11:45 AM, making several stops before arriving at Mailani station in Lakhimpur Kheri at 4:10 PM. The return journey on train number 52260 begins at 6:05 AM and reaches Bichia by 10:30 AM, stopping at nine stations along the way: Bichia, Manjhara Purab, Khairatia Bandh Road, Tikunia, Belerayan, Dudhwa, Palia Kalan, Bhira Kheri, and Mailani.
