Incorporation of Regional Languages in Vocational Training

On Tuesday, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath announced that the Uttar Pradesh government has integrated languages such as Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, Telugu, Marathi, and Bengali into its vocational education program. He emphasized that students will have the option to choose one of these languages based on their interests, with the government covering all associated costs.

During the 'Kashi Tamil Sangamam' event held in Varanasi, the Chief Minister described this initiative as a significant step towards reinforcing the vision of 'One India, Great India.' He expressed his happiness that, inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the state has included these languages in its vocational education curriculum.

Adityanath remarked, 'Students will select one language according to their preference, and the government will bear the entire expense. Tamil is providing a new platform in this context.'

Welcoming all guests in Tamil with a 'Vanakkam Kashi' and 'Har Har Mahadev' chant, the Chief Minister extended greetings on behalf of the Uttar Pradesh government and its people to all visitors from the sacred land of Rameswaram. He noted, 'Under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, this fourth edition of Kashi Tamil Sangamam is strengthening and bringing to life the commitment to 'One India, Great India.'
