The convicted individuals include Juber alias Sunil, Sajid, Dharamvir alias Jitender, Naresh alias Sandip Baheliya, and Sunil Kumar alias Sagar, who were found guilty on Saturday.

These men were charged with rape, robbery, and wrongful confinement after they held a family of six at gunpoint in August 2016, stealing cash and jewelry. During this ordeal, two victims, including a 13-year-old girl, were raped.

The investigation was later handed over to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) by the Allahabad High Court.

In November 2016, the CBI submitted a chargesheet against three of the accused, and a supplementary chargesheet was filed in April 2018 against six additional suspects.

One of the accused passed away while in judicial custody during the ongoing trial.
