Uttar Pradesh's Chief Minister, Yogi Adityanath, organized an event at his residence to inaugurate a journey commemorating the 350th martyrdom anniversary of Guru Tegh Bahadur, which will be celebrated in November. During the event, the Chief Minister addressed the attendees, emphasizing that Guru Tegh Bahadur sacrificed his life to protect Sanatan Dharma. Yogi further reflected on the era of the tyrant Aurangzeb, noting the widespread atrocities reported during that time. He stated that Aurangzeb's goal was to eradicate Sanatan Dharma, and Guru Tegh Bahadur was the first significant challenge to his extensive campaign of Islamization. Adityanath also mentioned that a major investigation has been initiated in Balrampur, highlighting the case of Jalaluddin, also known as Chingur Baba, who had set rates for conversions and was receiving foreign funding. Over 100 crore rupees were found transacted across his 40 bank accounts.

Earlier, Yogi Adityanath targeted the main opposition party, the Samajwadi Party (SP), stating that anyone opposing Lord Ram is destined for downfall. He made these remarks during a celebration at the Mahant Digvijaynath Smriti Bhawan in Gorakhnath Temple on the occasion of Guru Purnima. He referenced Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia, a prominent socialist, asserting that as long as the worship of Lord Ram, Lord Krishna, and Lord Shiva continues in India, no one can harm the nation. He concluded that those who oppose Ram are bound to face consequences.
