The Chief Minister arrived at the airport in Jewar around noon and proceeded to Sector 10 of the Yamuna Authority area. Here, he laid the foundation for electronics manufacturing plants by the Ambar Group and Ascent. Following this, he visited Sector 8, where he inaugurated a solar manufacturing plant focused on solar energy equipment. Officials indicated that these projects would significantly boost the electronics and semiconductor manufacturing sectors in the state.
Investment and Job Creation
Reports suggest that the Ambar Group has proposed an investment of approximately ₹6,785 crores in the Yamuna Authority area. The group plans to establish units for manufacturing air conditioning components, electronic devices, and other modern materials. These initiatives are expected to generate over 3,000 direct job opportunities. Officials believe that the commencement of these units will strengthen the manufacturing and supply chain of electronic devices in the country.
Inauguration of New Administrative Building
Later, Chief Minister Adityanath inaugurated the new administrative building of the Noida Authority located in Sector 96. This building, constructed at a cost of around ₹390 crores, began construction in 2016 but faced delays due to the pandemic and contractor-related issues. It is now fully operational.
Facility Overview
The new administrative complex of the Noida Authority spans six acres and consists of two towers, one with four floors and the other with eight. Initially, plans included eighteen and nine-story buildings, but these were later revised.
