Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Encourages Education and Play for Children

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has called on children to embrace education and play as the new academic year begins. He highlighted the government's commitment to ensuring that every child has access to education, launching initiatives like the 'School Chalo Abhiyan.' Adityanath shared personal experiences from his school days, emphasizing the role of schools in shaping character. He also encouraged the wise use of technology and urged parents to help other children in their communities gain access to education. This initiative aims to create a brighter future for all children in the state.
 

Inspiring the Next Generation

On Monday, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath of Uttar Pradesh motivated children to engage in both studying and playing, emphasizing the government's commitment to ensuring that no child is left without education. He shared a heartfelt message on social media, stating, 'Dear children, a new academic session is beginning. I wish you all the best for a bright future.'


He encouraged students to actively participate in subjects of interest, sports, and school activities, urging them to fill their dreams with vibrant colors.


The Chief Minister reiterated, 'The government is dedicated to making sure that every child receives an education. The 'School Chalo Abhiyan' from April 1 to April 15, 2026, is a testament to this commitment.' He added, 'The goal of a developed Uttar Pradesh can only be achieved when every child learns and grows.'


Education as a Foundation

In his message, he reflected on his own experiences, recalling a recent visit to his school in Uttarakhand, where he received fundamental education and values that paved the way for his future. He emphasized that schools are not just places for academic learning but are the first institutions for personality development.


Yogi Adityanath remarked, 'The initial steps of Lord Ram's ideal character and Lord Krishna's path of action began in their Gurukuls.' He stressed that education is an integral part of the duty path for all children. By adopting the principles of Swami Vivekananda, he encouraged students to achieve even the most challenging goals through hard work and positive thinking.


Embracing Technology Wisely

The Chief Minister also urged children to learn the proper use of technology, stating, 'We live in an age of technology, so it is essential to learn how to use it wisely. Focus on 'activity time' instead of 'screen time' and engage in plenty of play and study.'


He called upon parents to not only provide quality education for their children but also to commit to helping other children in their neighborhoods who lack access to schooling. He urged families to raise awareness about government schemes that can assist children who are unable to enroll in schools due to a lack of information.
