Former Australian cricketer Usman Khawaja recently took a swipe at Aaqib Javed, the director of high performance for the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), regarding his remarks about the significant overhaul of the Test team during the ongoing series.

Aaqib criticized the team's recent performances, stating that 'the world is laughing at us.' In response, Khawaja commented on a social media post from Cricinfo, saying, 'The world is laughing harder now.'

Major Changes in Pakistan's Test Squad

In preparation for the third and final Test against England starting September 9, Pakistan has made substantial changes to their Test lineup, replacing nearly half of the squad and parting ways with head coach Sarfaraz Ahmed and bowling coach Umar Gul after two heavy defeats against England.

Following a 194-run loss in the second Test, which gave England a 2-0 lead in the series, the PCB released seven players, including Mohammad Rizwan and Imam-ul-Haq. They have introduced five uncapped players along with Saim Ayub and Abdullah Fazal, who collectively have only 10 matches of experience.

The new additions to the squad include Arafat Minhas, Mohammad Imran Jnr, Saad Baig, Mohammad Imran Randhawa, and Razaullah.
