U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio Visits the Taj Mahal

U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio, accompanied by his wife, visited the Taj Mahal on Monday, where they enjoyed a private tour amidst heightened security. Their visit included a brief exploration of the monument, which was cleared of other tourists for safety reasons. Rubio expressed his appreciation for the opportunity to witness one of the world's most iconic symbols of love. This visit underscores the ongoing cultural ties between the United States and India, highlighting the significance of such diplomatic engagements.
 

Marco Rubio's Visit to the Taj Mahal

On Monday, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio arrived in Agra with his wife to admire the iconic Taj Mahal, as confirmed by official sources. They landed at Kheria Airport around 10 AM via a special flight.


Following their arrival, Rubio and his wife traveled by car to a hotel located at the eastern gate of the Taj Mahal. From there, they took a golf cart to reach the monument.


Amidst tight security, the couple spent approximately an hour exploring the Taj Mahal and capturing photographs. For security reasons, the premises were cleared of visitors, with existing tourists being escorted out by security personnel.


After their tour, Secretary Rubio expressed his gratitude in the visitor's book, stating, 'Thank you for allowing me to see one of the treasures of love in the world.'
