Today, US Central Command (CENTCOM) released a statement to address recent claims made by Iran regarding attacks on US naval forces. The statement, shared on X, emphasized that the Iranian government is spreading misinformation by asserting that it has successfully targeted a U.S. aircraft carrier. CENTCOM clarified, "The reality is that the only vessel affected is the Shahid Bagheri, an Iranian drone carrier, which was struck by U.S. forces shortly after the initiation of Operation Epic Fury."
