Mihul Sharma, the Secretary of the District Legal Services Authority for Kangra, has announced that National Lok Adalats will be held in all district and subordinate courts across Himachal Pradesh on September 12, 2026. This initiative is in accordance with directives from the National Legal Services Authority based in New Delhi and the Himachal Pradesh State Legal Services Authority in Shimla.

The Kangra district alone is set to address approximately 15,000 cases during this Lok Adalat.
